4c Sphinx Control (for the Current Standard) by Orgios

Anyone who knows me well, knows this, I love Sphinx Control... The affair started when I first saw Sphinx Summoner and Sharrum the Hedgemon, what a remarkable recycling engine! I thought...

Then came two players (Sascha Thomsen / Marcel Bauche) who took GP barcelona by surprise Day 1 with this beauty:

Creatures
4 Kitchen Finks
1 Magister Sphinx
3 Plumeveil
2 Sharuum the Hegemon
4 Sphinx Summoner
1 Sphinx of the Steel Wind
Other Spells
3 Cryptic Command
4 Path to Exile
1 Soul Manipulation
1 Tidings
4 Wrath of God
4 Mind Stone
3 Jace Beleren

Sideboard:
3 Anathemancer
3 Wall of Reverence
3 Wispmare
2 Agony Warp
2 Identity Crisis
2 Runed Halo

I don't mention the mana base to keep this short....

Ever Since I've been working on some sort of Sphinx Control, on the current standard my efforts lead me to this:

Creatures:
4 Birds Of Paradise
4 Borderland Ranger
3 Rhox War Monk
4 Sphinx Summoner
3 Sharrum The hedgemon
2 Sphinx of the Steel Wind
1 Ethersworn Adjudicator
3 Tidehollow Sculler

Other Spells
3 Day of Judgement
4 Esper Charm
2 Maelstrom Pulse
3 Bant Charm

Mana Base:
4 Misty Rain Forest
2 Marsh Flats
4 Seaside Citadel
4 Arcane Sanctum
4 Forest
2 Islands
3 Swamp
2 Plains

Sideboard
4 Capture Sunlight
1 Oblivion Ring
1 Rhox War Monk
1 Bant Charm
2 Qasali Pridemage
3 Negate
3 Soul Manipulation

25 Lands means this deck plays 61 cards. I found this necessary since I needed that extra basic land and a slightly better land/ratio . Fetch lands can be a bit tricky at times, since playing 25 lands doesn't really mean you get to play with 25 lands. Birds and Borderland ranger play an important role in this  deck both accelerating and fixing your mana.

So main deck we have a total of:
24 Possible card advantage spells
12 Card drawing spells
7 Answers to Enchantments
6 Answers to Artifacts
5 Lifelink Creatures
Both mass and spot removal

I don't know about you but I find this impressive, this deck feels like a swiss knife packing answers for almost everything. Plus I finally get to play again my favorite play ever! EOT esper charm you, on my turn Day of Judgement! Sphix Summoner fetching Sharrum means that you don't care about Jund's removals at all and that Sphinx of the Steelwind will hit play 90% of the time ending the game in your favor since they have no answer for the spicy hot (really??) new Akroma!!!

This deck can answer Jacearator easily and fight Boros with a good chance main deck while completely owning them post side.

The only thing this deck doesn't have is LD and you can add spreading seas to the sideboard if you wish, the side is still work in progress. As always your meta will define your SB.

I strongly suggest you give this deck a try, it will definitely won't dissapoint.

P.S. Dear Santa please PLEASE bring Mind Stone back into standard.
